Citing his military service, representation of the rights of military families before the US Supreme Court against the Westboro Baptist Church, and extensive community service in the legal field over 20 years, the Editorial board of the York Daily Record/Sunday News has endorsed Craig for the Court of Common Pleas.  Judges should not be political and the support Craig is attracting from all parts of the political spectrum reflect that the community recognizes he possesses the judicial temperament and legal skills to be the best choice for York County judge.

I am running for judge because I wish to continue my lifetime of service and leadership to our community and our country from the bench.  I believe a qualified judge should possess three core qualifications:

Experience

A broad base of experience - not only in the types of law that a judge will rule upon, but life experience as well, as both are necessary for common sense and wisdom from the bench;

Service

A proven record of service to the community and the nation, reflecting sacrifice for the greater good, with the ability to make tough decisions;

Integrity

Strength of character that demonstrates a selfless commitment to provide crime victims protection and the abused with access to justice.

As a US Army combat veteran with 24 years ongoing military service, a former prosecutor and civil trial attorney with over 100 jury trials, and as one of two York attorneys to take the issue of protecting grieving military families from harassment during their children’s funerals to the US Supreme Court (pro bono), I am ready to dedicate my experience to be a Judge of the Court of Common Pleas of York County.

Craig is leading the call for creation of a Veteran's Court in York County to ensure our troops return home with honor, as well as for its impact on saving taxpayer dollars.   Watch the short video at:

This is an important program I want to bring to York County. If Pittsburgh and Philly can do it, so can we (and better)!
